Can I add creditors I forgot after I file my bankruptcy petition?

Any debts you do not list on your petition are not considered wiped out . If you forgot about a creditor or just discovered one after you filed, dont worry! There is still time to ammend them and get into your petition, you can add them up to thirty days after your 341 meeting. Your case is closed sixty days after your 341 meeting. Your creditors have sixty days to file any disputes or fraud claims against you in that time. Once the 60 days are up you are in the clear and the case is over and done with! So remember do your research, pull your credit and really think hard about who you owe money to, because at the end of the day it’s you who are responsible for listing those creditors.
