My license is suspended
because of an unpaid judgment, can I include this?
Yes as long as you were not under the
influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the accident.
You must list the creditor on schedule F of your bankruptcy
petition. Once your discharge is received, a copy is sent
to the dmv/bmv and the suspension will be removed from your
driving record. In some states, a reinstatement fee may
apply before your license can be reinstated, so check with
your state’s office.
