No, your spouse’s name will not appear on
your petition nor will it reflect on his/her creditor
report. Non-filing spousal income will be reflected on
schedule I and the means test and non-filing expenses on
schedule J. If your spouse is a co-signer on any of the
debts listed on your bankruptcy petition, your spouse will
still be responsible for the balance on the debt, even if
you are discharged.
